The day 1 of Quasar-2K12 started with a great hustle and bustle of students getting ready for their events. The most eye-capturing event was LANGDI-TAANG. It was full of entertainment and energy and contained an aroma of childhood. The event started as the tick of the clock struck nine. The event constituted of mainly two rounds.
First round tested the individual capability of the youngsters of how fast and quickly they were playing the game following the rules and regulations. There were a total of 29 individual participants and after undergoing through various stages, four finalists were selected. Out of these finalists best two players were chosen at last. It marked exciting head-to-head competition. The game got over at about 12:30 pm.
Second round started around 3:00pm.it was basically a team-based round and a lot of students turned up for participation,showing their team spirit. About a total of 30 teams were formed. Initially all seemed to be in relaxed mood but as the game pregressed, the thrill and excitement was clearly visible on their faces. The team members had to face a number of eliminations. After all game itself means win for some and defeat for some. At the end of the game there were only two teams left, out of which winner team was selected.
The winner and runner-up of first round were Sudesh Tiwari and Rakesh Sharma respectively. The winner team of second round was of Disha & Mayank and runner-up team was of Supreet & Urmila.
Winners and runner-up were awarded with cash prizes.The event was organized by Mayanshi Gupta, Anuj Gupta, Prateek Maheshwari and Bhavik Agarwal.
