Exchange Program

We have a robust academic collaboration with 16 of the world’s leading  universities (twelve in France and four in Thailand). We shall soon add more universities from Europe and the USA to this list along with Network n+i to provide best possible support for internships and higher studies abroad.

Students Exchange Program

Several students have completed internship at our institute under Students Exchange Program from French and Thai universities. Students of BKBIET take full advantage by joining such universities for their internship training. Also one topper from each branch is offered scholarship from the French embassy to attend the internship training of 2-3 months at French Universities.

Approx. 240 students have undergone their internships from these prominent international universities. More than 110 students from these universities have completed their internships at BKBIET under the Student Exchange Program

Faculty Exchange Program

Gaetan Poulain
University of Nantes, France

Gaetan Poulain is a French student-teacher who has just completed two master degrees in Computer Science from University of Nantes in France. One of them is research oriented with a specialization in “Knowledge Discovery in Data” and the other one is professional oriented with a specialization in “Business Intelligence”.

He has chosen to go for One Year in India in B K Birla Institute of Engineering & Technology, Pilani as senior fellowship in order to teach Computer Sciences to B.Tech students.

Since a long time, he likes helping people to understand the difficult concepts. He thinks that nothing is difficult and at the range of everybody; we just need a good teacher or appropriate material to understand them. If this condition is respected, it is just a question of time to master new concepts.

His area of interest include Databases and Data warehousing, algorithms, optimization, Artificial Intelligence and JAVA (for programming Graphical User Interfaces), Business intelligence and Data Mining, Knowledge Management and semantic web and more generally all the technologies which are promised in a great development but still in research process
